"My HOUSE shall be called a House of Prayer for all nations,
but you have made it a den of robbers." - Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17, Luke 19:46
A Den of Robbers
Diane Langberg asked at the The Restore Conference 2025:
"Have we made our Father's House a den of robbers,
which literally means, a safe place for those who steal?"
Interestingly, I came across her video after I made a Facebook post about this verse! Here is the link to her message:
This testimony from Shelley Hundley answers so many questions about Mike Bickle!
Mike Bickle’s Grooming & Abuse Was Widespread at IHOPKC, Says Former Prayer Ministry Leader
The Exposure Continues
Unfortunately, many shepherds learned destructive leadership habits from Mike Bickle at IHOPKC.
The Lord is overturning tables!
Jesus condemned the Temple's commercialization and misuse for personal gain.
"My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations," referencing Isaiah 56:7, identities the Temple's purpose as a place of prayer and worship.
"But you have made it a den of robbers," is an allegation against religious leaders. It exposes those who have turned the sacred place of worship and prayer into a place of greed and exploitation.
The exposure is from the Lord. He is the ONE cleansing HIS temple!
Watch the first few episodes of The Chosen, Season 5, to get an idea of what HIS Zeal might have looked like when Jesus cracked the whip and drove out those desecrating HIS sanctuary!

The Pieces Are Coming Together
Sadly, I’m beginning to see a better picture of the true nature of the Western Church. Not all Churches are dysfunctional, but so many have gone down the wrong path. I used to think a Church was the safest place. Now I realize caution needs to be used within the church structure even more than outside at times. I would love to spend time sharing thoughts about Shelley Hundley’s testimony and so many other things I’m processing. Hopefully, these articles will provide snapshots to be expounded on in another season of life when I have more time to actually write! For now, I hope the links and brief comments shared will help you on your journey. May the Lord direct your steps as you put together the “Church Puzzle” so that you can find healing and prevent future harm of the Lord’s sheep!
Be sure to go back and read previous posts to follow my journey of processing and detangling the IHOP-KC crisis.
